      <image:title>About Me - Hi, folks.</image:title>
<image:caption>My name is AJ (they/them). I’ve been a professional educator in Sacramento for 9 years. I specialized in Physics and Educational Technology. Honestly, what else do you want to know? Education credentials? I have earned a Bachelor’s in Physics w/a concentration in education, a Teaching Credential, and a Master’s in Educational Technology (iMET) - all from CSU Sacramento. Work credentials? I’ve been working at Luther Burbank High School in Sacramento, CA since 2013. It’s an amazing school filled with amazing people. I’ve also done a few odds and ends around campus: co-lead teacher, support provider, cooperating teacher, swim coach - I even once helped do ASB for a year. Something weird about me? I like to sit in weird positions at my computer, so I bought myself a chair that would let me sit in whatever position I wanted. I built this website originally as an ePortfolio for my culminating project in the iMET program. I’ve been having my students make classroom portfolios and felt like this would be a good opportunity for me to do the same. On this website, I plan on keeping various artifacts that I feel like showing off or sharing. Ideally, this will be a website with a much bigger library of materials between YouTube videos, rubrics, and lessons/units that I’ve designed. Currently, though, I just have a sampling of the types of materials I might share in the Lesson Portfolio and a page where I have shared my culminating project from the iMET Experience.</image:caption>
